Thank you for considering covering the Komaba Festival.
If you would like to publicize this festival, please download the coverage application form, fill it out and send it to our e-mail address by November 11th (Fri.), 2022. Please read the outline below before filling out the form.
※We would like the e-mail title and the file name of the coverage application in the style of 【Name of your group/section】Coverage Application.
※If you have any documents you want us to read, please send them with the coverage application form.
Additionally, if you wish to interview within the KomabaICampus in the time period when the Komaba Festival is not held, you need permission from the university in addition to submitting the coverage application below. Please follow the procedures and apply for coverage on the official website of Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences, the University of Tokyo.

Possible Contents for Media Inquiries

  • Interviews with the projects or the festival committee members involved in the Komaba Festival.
  • Filming for the purpose of uploading to video-sharing sites (e.g., YouTube).
  • Any sort of filming or screenshots of this website and its contents for secondary use in public.

Possible Media Inquiry Styles

Online Coverage

Interviewing the projects or the committee members online.
Examples; Presenting the delivery of the projects by utilizing screenshots/Interviewing the committee members through online tools (e.g., Zoom).

Offline coverage

Interviewing the projects or the festival committee members within the campus.
As a rule, interviews with any members of projects held outside the campus are not allowed. If you wish to do so, please contact us beforehand.

Guidelines for Admittance of Media Inquiries

We check the contents of the media inquiries based on the following criteria.
  • The coverage contents must be related to the Komaba Festival.
  • Please be considerate of the Portrait Rights of those who have not consented to be captured in photos or videos.
  • It is strictly forbidden to use any images or videos which include anything that can be identified as the University of Tokyo’s campus.
    ーIf you need such images, you need our permission.
  • You may not alter or falsify the facts provided through the coverage in the editing process.
  • When interviewing at the Komaba Festival, please take the infection status of COVID-19 and the Activity Restriction Level of the University of Tokyo into account.
  • You are to follow the instructions of festival committee members.

Precaution

Please be aware that we may ask you to change the contents or decline the interview depending on the contents requested.
  • As a rule, we will check any written and filmed material before it is released in public. Live streaming or live broadcast are forbidden.
  • If you would like to cover any specific projects, please send the coverage application form by November 4th (Fri.), 2022.
    ーAlong with whether or not the project can be covered, we will inform you of the contact information of the people in charge of the project only if they allow us to do so.
  • Any personal data we would collect from you while contacting us will be used only for coverage-related work.
  • Please enter the campus with the minimum number of people in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection.
  • Vehicles for coverage are prohibited from entering or parking on the campus.
  • No rooms for preparing the coverage are available.
